Project Brief
Re-imagine a famous novel cover and interior design aimed at 25-35 year olds.
Solution
I chose to re-design Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein" in a more modern illustrative way that I haven't seen before. The illustrations are abstract and rudimentary eluding to Dr. Frankenstein's monster and different themes throughout the book. The color palette is based on Romantic paintings of the same period the book was written, giving a more authentic feeling to the design. The interior of the book was designed to be easy to read, and incorporate elements of the cover such as typeface, illustration and color.
